Dr. Anna Lam was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and she is the first in her family to attend college and pursue a graduate degree.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology and a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).

​

Her passion for optometry developed during her time volunteering for the UCSD Shiley EyeMobile Clinic in which she had the chance to help many students see clearly for the first time. Her clinical rotations included the VA Ambulatory Care Center, Center for the Partially Sighted, New Eyes, and the University Eye Care Center.

Dr. Lam opened her office in Moorpark in August 2015 in which she provides primary eye care for the entire family and is now bringing her expertise to the city of Oxnard.

She is also currently a sub-investigator for Dougherty Laser Vision under the Clinical Trial with ReVision Optics’ Raindrop® Near Vision Inlay for Treating Presbyopia which has been recently FDA approved.
